Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Alethea! I am a student in American University’s Games and Interactive Media MFA program, class of 2025. I have a BA in Classical Studies and Philosophy, with a minor in Religion, from Rice University, class of 2021. I have been writing fiction for almost two decades at this point, including games, plays, short stories, and an in-progress novel.

Graduation - LGBTQ visual novel about coming out as transgender in a fantasy setting, written for Making Meaningful Games at American University, fall 2023. Full version released on itch.io March 2024.

Crimson Nights - LGBTQ visual novel/dating simulator, originally released as a demo for itch.io’s 2023 Josei Jam. Full version released October 2023.

Claws of the Weirwater - Interactive medieval detective fiction, written for Writing for Interactivity at American University, fall 2023.

Ianthe’s Trial - Interactive fiction, written for Game Prototyping at American University, fall 2022. Art in this project was sourced from neoclassical artwork.
